Jessie, Jenny and Stephanie here at “The Future of Lifestyle Media” panel (our first one of the week) and we’re learning A LOT! This panel features Camille Styles of Camillestyles.com, Andrew Wagner of Krrb, Grace Bonney of Design Sponge and Tolly Moseley of Austin Eavesdropper.
A few things we’ve found interesting and/or appreciated hearing thus far:

I’m a pretty big blog reader, and for the most part, I don’t discriminate. I love reading about food, fashion, travel, PR industry trends, books, cats…you name it. Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon a session by Emily Schuman, creator and editor of the ever-popular Cupcakes and Cashmere. Her solo presentation (Tuesday, March 13 from 3:30-4:30 at The Driskall) will cover the ins and outs of building a true connection with your audience through blogging, how her experiences as a blogger stemmed into a lucrative book deal, and how remaining authentic to her own personal style has turned her blog into an established brand and business. Pretty interesting, eh? With more than 50,000 Facebook followers, and a new guest-blogging deal with Estee Lauder, this girl knows her stuff, and I’m so excited to be able to hear her speak Tuesday.
There are so many other of my favorite bloggers attending as well-like Camille from Camille Styles, Grace Bonney of Design Sponge, and Tolly Moseley from Austin Eavesdropper (their panel is Friday, March 9th from 2:00-3:00 at The Sheraton). If you don’t read these blogs already, hop to it. You won’t be sorry.
